Located on the northern banks of the Manyuchi Dam is Manyuchi Lodge. Constructed in 2012 the Lodge and Campsite owned by founder Mr and Mrs O.Z Shiriyapenga born and resident in Mwenezi, the establishment is the only resort in the north-west part of Mwenezi District. It offers a tranquil environment within the communal areas of Magomana, Munengwani and Chirame to carry out various activities and yet embracing the comfort of home away from home.  |

| The river has sitting hippos, Nile crocodiles and baboons.
